The Boston Jolly Pirates

BJP is a ska band with many other influences in the mix. They have been a band since the Summer of 2004 and have been playing out in the New England area strong since early 2005. Members include Tony Gemba (theremin/lead vox), Dave Jenks (bass/backing vox), Joe Ferrara (guitar), Jon-Erik Tryggestad (trumpet) and Joey Herbz (drums). The band is notorious for their partying and shenanigans as well as their strong belief in a unified Boston Music Scene. With 2 full lengths under their belts and a new album (GLOBAL WARMING) out this year, expect these MA ska-punkers to keep on making their unique style of ska-core and playing their energetic/off-the-wall live shows for a long time!
